Exam questions in Qimen have their own dedicated map of symbols. Unlike career readings, where doors carry most of the weight, exam charts lean heavily on stars and stems, because the system cares less about the opportunity and more about the people judging your work. Learn these seven and you can follow any education-related reading:

考试问题在奇门中有一套专属的符号体系。与事业类解盘不同（事业盘以门为核心），考试盘更倚重星和天干，因为这套体系更关注的是评判你的人，而非机会本身。这七个记熟，任何与学业相关的解盘都能跟上：

The grammar of an exam reading is relational, just like career charts, but the cast of characters is different. Here the central question is: how does the student's palace relate to the palaces holding the examination authority, the chief examiner and the target school? When those authorities generate or support the student, the system is on your side. When they control or suppress the student, the system is working against you, no matter how well you studied.

How Exam Charts Are Judged考试盘怎么断

Classical Qimen judges exam questions through a four-outcome framework. The student's palace condition comes first, then the relationship to the authority figures. Once you know these four tiers, every scenario below is a special case of the same logic:

古典奇门通过四层结果框架来断考试问题。先看考生宫位状态，再看与权威方的关系。掌握这四个层级后，下面每个场景都不过是同一套逻辑的具体运用：

Outcome 1: Ideal result. The student's palace is thriving, carrying Three Wonders (the three treasures: Yi, Bing, Ding) with auspicious doors and formations. On top of that, Support Star (Advisor Star), Duty Chief and Year Stem (target school) all generate or support the student's palace. This is the chart of someone who walks into their dream school: the student is strong, the answers are sharp, and the system actively helps.

结果一：理想结局。考生宫位旺相，得三奇（乙、丙、丁），配合吉门吉格。与此同时，天辅星、值符和年干都生助考生宫位。这是那种直接进入理想学校的盘面：考生状态强，答卷漂亮，系统也在主动帮忙。

Outcome 2: Good result through effort. The student's palace is still thriving with Three Wonders and auspicious formations, but instead of receiving support from the authorities, the student controls Support Star, Duty Chief and Year Stem. This means the institution isn't rolling out the red carpet, but the student is strong enough to push through. Think of it as earning your seat rather than being invited.

结果二：靠努力拿到好结果。考生宫位依然旺相，得三奇和吉格，但考生不是被权威方生助，而是克制天辅、值符和年干。这意味着学校不会主动铺红毯，但考生自身足够强，可以闯进去。可以理解为：你是拼出来的名额，不是被邀请的。

Outcome 3: Poor performance, still admitted. The student's palace is weak, with low season energy and no treasures to speak of, but Support Star, Duty Chief or Year Stem generate the student's palace. The exam performance is mediocre, maybe even disappointing. But the system still lets the student through. This is the chart of someone who scrapes in: perhaps a lower-tier acceptance, a supplementary round, or a conditional offer.

结果三：发挥不好，但仍被录取。考生宫位弱，季节能量低，没有什么奇门可言，但天辅、值符或年干生助考生宫位。考场发挥平平，甚至令人失望，但系统依然放行。这是那种勉强进去的盘面：也许是较低档次的录取、补录，或附条件录取。

Outcome 4: Fails. The student's palace is dead, entombed (Entombment) or void, burdened by inauspicious formations, and Support Star, Duty Chief and Year Stem all control the student. There is no energy, no support, and no way through. The classical texts are direct: this chart means the student does not pass.

结果四：落榜。考生宫位死绝、入墓或空亡，凶格压制，天辅、值符和年干全部克制考生。没有能量，没有支持，没有出路。古籍对此的判断很直接：这个盘面意味着考生过不了。

Scenario: Will I Pass This Exam?场景：考试能过吗？

The most common exam question. The chart is read as a confrontation between the student and the examination system, not a collaboration. You are trying to get past a gate, and the gate has its own agenda.

最常见的考试问题。盘面被解读为考生和考试系统之间的一次"对峙"，而非合作。你在试图通过一道关卡，而这道关卡有它自己的规则。

Scenario: Which School Will Accept Me?场景：能考上哪所学校？

Admissions questions shift the focus from pass-or-fail to level. The student might pass the exam but still miss the target school, or land somewhere unexpected. Here, Year Stem (the target school) becomes the central symbol, and the question is whether the student can reach it.

录取类问题把焦点从"过不过"转移到了层级。考生可能通过考试却依然与目标学校擦肩，或者意外落到别处。这里，年干（目标学校）成为核心符号，问题是考生能不能够到它。

Timing and Retakes: When to Try Again择时与重考：什么时候再来

Because Qimen charts change every two hours, a bad chart for exams right now doesn't mean a bad chart forever. The system is a clock, not a verdict. This matters in two ways: the timing of your study and the timing of the exam itself.

因为奇门盘每两小时变化一次，现在考试的盘面不好，不等于永远不好。这个系统是一面钟，不是一纸判决。这在两个层面上有意义：复习的时机和考试本身的时机。

For study timing, practitioners look for windows where the student's palace is strong and Support Star (the Advisor Star, which also governs learning and scholarship) supports the student; these are the hours when focus comes easily and material sticks. For exam timing, the question is different: you usually can't pick when the test happens, but you can pick when to ask the question. A chart cast at a supportive hour doesn't change the exam date, but it can tell you whether the conditions around that date favor you or not, and whether retaking in a later cycle would be smarter.

This is perhaps the most important thing to understand about Qimen and exams: the chart does not test your knowledge. It maps the environment: the fairness of the paper, the disposition of the examiner, the alignment between your energy and the system's requirements. Two students with identical preparation can face very different conditions. Qimen reads those conditions. The studying is still on you.
