By using QimenIt, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

3. Cookies & Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) for anonymous traffic analysis to improve our service. GA4 uses cookies to collect aggregated, non-personally-identifiable data such as page views, traffic sources, and device types. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party tracking pixels.
Your language preference and analysis cache are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and are never sent to our servers. These are required for the site to function and are not used for tracking.
4. How We Use Your Data
- To generate your Qimen Dunjia chart and AI analysis
- To manage your account and process payments
- To send transactional emails (sign-in codes, purchase confirmation, account-related notices such as when unused analysis credits are approaching expiry)
- To maintain the security and integrity of the service
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service.
5. Third-Party Services
To operate QimenIt, your data passes through the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties.
6. Data Retention
- Account data — retained while your account is active and for up to 90 days after deletion
- Analysis data — retained while your account is active
- Server logs — automatically managed by Vercel and Railway per their own retention policies (typically 30–90 days)
- Payment records — retained by Stripe per their legal obligations
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure third-party infrastructure. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
QimenIt is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data through our service, please contact us at support@qimenit.com and we will delete it promptly.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
- Portability — request your data in a portable format

10. International Users
QimenIt is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using QimenIt, you consent to this transfer.
